Fundraising

The New Sarepta Minor Hockey Association, as well as others, rely on the assistance of individuals, corporations and professional Associations to provide sponsorship by means of monetary and material donations. But there are numerous other activities organized throughout the calendar year to ensure the continued success and growth of the amateur hockey program in our community.

The fundraising representative has one of the most tasking duties within the Association. It takes a great deal of personal time and devotion to plan, organize and successfully carry out these activities. To this means, it is very important that our members provide all the assistance they can.

The funds raised also assist in replacing team uniforms, various equipment as well as upgrading the Agri-Plex itself.


Some of the activities whereby we receive and expense funds to ensure a viable, continuing hockey program include:

This is one of our biggest fundraisers our Hockey Association has through out the year.

To ensure these activities and needs are met, each team will have a parent representative who must attend meetings and bring information back to his/her team parents and assist with fulfilling team responsibilities.

Supporters of our program will be recognized for the season-year by having their corporation logo, address, email and URL included on our website with direct links to their businesses, for no charge.

The greatest unsung heros are those who are willing to assist their community and expect nothing in return. We truly appreciate all those who have helped in the past and who will help in the future.


FUND-RAISING CHAIR

The Fund-Raising Chair will oversee all fundraising events. This person will make sure the committees are in place and report to the executive. She will organize meetings with the fundraising reps. from each team and organize and distribute duties fairly amongst the Association.


FUNDRAISING REP.

The NSMHA is supporting 8 teams this season. Once again we have had to purchase more jerseys and equipment. We have a very hardworking fundraising committee who has ensured our fees remain reasonable. Activities include the  Awards Night, the New Sarepta Agricultural Fair, and Demolition Derby.

We must have a fundraising rep from each team to attend the meetings organized by the Fundraising Chair. This person will also be responsible to help the fundraising committee delegate certain tasks for fundraising events.

With our continued growth, NSMHA must continue with fundraising.
